so busy i didn't even know you called.

Grad school is hard. really hard. more time consuming than hard, really. more life consuming. very discussion and thinking based. i learn better discussing things, but there's just so much.

Ancestry.com just got a frustrated e-mail. they canceled my subscription one day before they were supposed to. bad ancestry.

banana plant keeps growing leaves. it's beautiful.

can't sleep so well lately. been really stressed. tai chi helped the other day. tea helps too. neverending work doesn't. been feeling so fatigued lately. maybe its iron levels? regardless, i don't like being tired so much.

had a group meeting tonight. one of my group members was on vacation, so we had her on speaker phone and talked about everything. went very well; i was surprised. never had a meeting with someone kind of there. was very productive feeling too.

realized i can get coffee at the library - fair trade coffee, with free soy milk. was tasty. and cheap.

knitting is going well. working on a baby hat for my cousin - her shower is this weekend. hope to have it done by then. never made anything other than a shawl, so this is new. and i'm also using circular needles. but it looks good so far.

we made ice cream last week with chris' new ice cream attachment and the mimicreme we found at hannafords on clearance. was delicious.

working on perfecting my time management. not sure what system works best for me. or maybe i don't even need a system. i worked very well today, being away from home all day (read: distractions).

spencer's full of construction. everywhere.

i love yard sales. and books too.

i hope i get that job at the library. in the meantime, thinking of creative ways make money (and pay bills).
