and the days go by

have a plan; working on family history stuff. involving interviews with older family members and other things. a collection. (bought a voice recorder!!)

radio works now in the car. car doors all work. tires scare me when i go around sharp turns and on ramps and when it rains. every time. it'll go away with time, i hope.

banana plant and citrus tree came in the mail. they looked like %&&^ and came in the tiniest box and were covered in dirt with torn up leaves.

luckily, they're doing much better under my care. i water them and talk to them. the banana plant already has a new leaf, and it's bigger than all the rest!

will post pix at some point soon. also growing are some random seeds i found (vine peach cantaloupe and triple crop tomato) and some kale too (which stopped being moldy).

read a book by chris rock's wife. she's a philanthropist/humanitarian lady and she wrote about volunteering down in new orleans recently and how she stayed at camp hope. that's the camp we helped build when we were down volunteering in may of 2005 (when fema left). apparently its still up and running and in need of volunteers. i'd like to go back some day.

annoyed by delta; frustrated with clark; bus was canceled, trying to find a ride to detroit; planning a bridal shower; have 11 cavities (what the hell).
